Poštovani prijatelji, u nekoliko prethodnih postova prikazao sam vam moj CD koji sam priredio 2006. godine. On sadrži 2020 fotografija Broda i okoline.

INTRODUCTION
The idea of arranging a CD like this one was born two or
three years ago. Since
then, I slowly started taking photos of modern Brod more intensively. Setting
out to make rounds of the township all through, watching our settlements, I was
wondering, if it was possible, was it really our reality even some 14
years after the greatest devastation of this community in its history?! I was
amazed how neglected and forgotten we were by the governments of Republic of
Srpska, by the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I was wondering if
international organizations that were working in this area could do anything
else to heal wounds on souls of these people, could they do something more with
building of what had been destructed?! I was also wondering, so as many other
townsmen of Brod, if it was our fault? A town and community near Middle Europe,
few hours of driving to Vienna, Budapest,
Prague…
As I said,
I was starting to obtain the photo material in the beginning of 2004.
However, while I was arranging the material, meanwhile, our
town changed its name a few times, so I have finally decided to give this CD
the name which it has. That repeated change in this town’s name implies that
Bosanski Brod nowadays, also confirms its controversy, the controversy of its
geo-political site and existence in the middle and context of wider events in
this area. I deeply believe that our townsmen “had enough”, I believe they want
to turn to peace, work and life, with all their powers, and I believe Brod will
slowly and finally sail into more peaceful waters, turn to itself and to the
world and bring the world to itself.
After I had
asked Mrs.Gordana Ceric, the secretary of the assembly of Bosanski Brod, to
explain the sequence of events about changing the town and township’s name to
me, I was given the following explanations: according to the law of territorial
organization and local political self-management of Republic of Srpska (Sl.glasnik RS broj 11/94, 6/95, 26/95,
15/96, 17/96 i 6/97) according to the article 11. the name Srpski Brod was
consolidated. By the resolution of the
Constitutional court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sl.glasnik BiH broj 46/04) from
21.10.2004. it was established that the name Srpski Brod was no longer in
effect, thus, until all disagreements have been removed, the new name Bosanski
Brod was in use. It was followed by the law of teritorial organization of
Republic of Srpska (Sl.glasnik RS broj 103/05 od 21.11.2005.) that established that
the name Srpski Brod was exchanged with the word Brod. The next was the Resolution
of the Constitutional court that established that the procedure of making and
presenting the Laws of teritorial organization of Republic of Srpska was not in
agreement with the Republic of Srpska constitution. When it is concluded that
some act is not in agreement with the constitution, it stops to be valid by the
day of proclamation in Sluzbeni glasnik. The Resolution mentioned was
proclaimed in Sluzbeni glasnik No. 14/06 from 20.02.2006. Since the act was no
longer valid, everything was reversed to the previous one, and that was the
Resolution of the Constitutional court of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2004.
All photographs obtained were
classified by the names of settlements (the town and populated villages). A
part of of the set which shows demolished objects or extremely negative
consequences of happenings, I placed in special folders under the name „No
comment“. Taking photos was done with a digital camera FUJI fine pixel A350,
SIEMENS CV 65 i C 75 mobile phone cameras, and one part of photos was borrowed
from Internet sites about Brod, and also one part was given by gentlemen Sinisa
Knezevic and Dusko Milicic what I am sincerely grateful for. I would also like
to thank Branka and Milan Stjepanovic who , like myself, took a considerable
number of photos.
I want also to thank especially for
help of my dear associates Teodor Trifunovic, Goran Vukojevic, Nenad Precanica
and Goran Ignjatic from Brod, so as to Mrs.Tatjana Dunovic from the National
library and the University library of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka, who
helped me unselfishly!
This CD is without comments, without
superflous words and moving pictures, silent, just a photographically correct
representation of our reality which remains a document in which someone, in
some future time, will see in how ambient we lived, but it would be good for us
to pull out the moral from the nearest history, so as not to be run over by
time in our grayness and dream just like that!!!
